A quick update from us…

It feels like March 2020 was about 150 years ago and we also can’t quite believe that it’s almost June. We all know how much has happened over the last few months and probably, like us, have gone through a lot of ups and downs in a time of uncertainty, confusion and determination to make a difference in whatever way we possibly can.

During these unprecedented times we, like a lot of other businesses had to make various changes to the way we operate and deliver our security training programme to all our learners across the globe. However, we have, like most other businesses, found a way to ensure that we, as a group, can still find a way to help all our learners with their professional development – so we wanted to share what has changed over the last few months. We want to give you a quick update about when our classroom training will continue and we also wanted to say thank you for your ongoing support through the COVID-19 pandemic.

A surge in Online Training

As a result of our classroom-based training being postponed until July 2020, we naturally saw a great increase in our online training courses. In fact, since March we have seen a 88% increase in our online training courses across the group.

Some of our most demanded online courses include; the Security Insitute security management courses, our ASIS International training courses, our Risk Crisis and Disaster Management BTEC Level 4 online training course as well as our vast range of security management bitesize coursesOur learners have been able to work towards their desired qualifications and gain vital CPD points throughout.

Our sister company, Tavcom Training, has also worked incredibly hard to offer all their learners a variety of online training programmes to ensure that everyone is in the best possible position for when we’re starting ‘the new normal’. Though Tavcom Training can never replace their first-class hands-on practical classroom training course portfolio, online courses such as their BTEC Level 5 CCTV Systems Design, their BTEC Level 5 Professional Practices of Network Design or their brand new offering of Essential Security Technical Training bundles have seen a great uptake throughout this period.

When is classroom training coming back?

One thing is certain, we all miss our fantastic classroom training! As a group, we have been working very hard behind the scenes to ensure that our wide range of classroom training can once again be delivered according to the government guidelines ensuring everyone’s safety.

We are currently working towards reopening our classroom training by July 4, providing it is safe to do so and the government will give businesses the ‘green light’. Below is a list of our classroom training courses that we will restart with:

You can take a look at our full schedule here!

We, like most of you, are very much looking forward to welcoming all our learners back into our classrooms, once it is safe to do so – just keep an eye out on our websites and social media channels for any updates.

Last but not least – thank you!

At the beginning of the year we, just like most of you, had great plans for this year and nobody could have predicted the situation we are in globally. We all know how tough it has been – COVID-19 has changed everything for us overnight. However, one thing we as a group have been so incredibly amazed by is the support everyone has given each other and not just within the security industry.

We wanted to say a big THANK YOU to you all for the continued support during this strange time. Whatever the ‘new normal’ will look like the Linx International Group will continue to help all of our learners to gain their qualifications, progress within their career and take their next step within their professional development.
