Course Overview
Delivered in partnership with Precept Management Consultancy, this course follows on from the Security Management – Stage 1 course and is designed to continue to broaden the learners’ scope of knowledge related to modern security management.
Guided by an experienced tutor, learners will be introduced to a range of topics designed to enhance their ability to develop strategy and relevant mitigation measures, make recommendations and offer solutions whilst understanding the budgetary implications. Subjects include Managing Security Projects, Corporate Resilience as well as Enterprise Security Risk Management.
This programme takes the form of lectures, workshops, discussions and exercises. Learners are placed into groups and are tasked to solve typical security problems together. You will leave the training having covered a wide range of Security Management and Security Coordination topics, providing the foundation for further future study should you wish to continue your development.

ABOUT THE COURSE
Welcome to the Security Management – Stage 2: Tactical Security training course, designed for professionals seeking the knowledge and confidence necessary to manage a successful security management function. Following on from the Stage 1 training programme, you will continue to learn the principles of security management with an emphasis on risk methodology and designing appropriate security measures.
On this course, we invite you to join our expert instructors as they introduce you to a range of key modules to build a strong foundation of expertise in this area of security and risk, offering a detailed and engaging learning experience.
This course is highly interactive and will teach you current techniques which you can apply to real-world scenarios. You’ll study and interact with people of all backgrounds and experiences throughout the course, providing a well-rounded programme.
Teaching & Assessment
Learners will receive a PerpetuityARC Training Certificate of Attendance upon successful completion of the five days’ training. Learners may wish to build on this knowledge further by studying further areas of security management such as Risk, Crisis and Disaster Management training or Security Coordination and Design.
This is a tutor-led, classroom course. Delegates will work in syndicates to provide feedback on a range of exercise scenarios.
