MSc Learner wins Imbert Award!

ConSeC 2025, the annual conference and exhibition of the Association of Security Consultants, aims to assist greater understanding of diverse threats and risks, to examine and share current good practice, and to reinforce the need for well-informed independent security advice.

James Mortlock, one of our previous MSc Students was nominated for the ’Imbert Award’ at this year’s conference, making it to Finalist position. The Imbert Award recognises the most exceptional Master’s Level (L7) Dissertation or Thesis on a security or risk-related subject within the United Kingdom.

We are proud to announce that James has won the award! His dissertation was titled: AI or Die? An assessment of Generative Artificial Intelligence Adoption by Western Corporations and its impact on Security Management.

James was in the process of leaving the armed forces when he applied and started the Master’s degree in International Security and Risk Management, that we deliver with the University of West London, and we couldn’t be prouder to see him continue to achieve.

PerpetuityARC was also presented with a Certificate of Recognition.
