Everything You Need to Know About Security to be a Great Facilities Manager in 12 Online Learning Modules
The Linx International Group today announced the launch of a new online programme to provide Facilities Managers with the broad understanding of security and risk, that is increasingly incorporated into their remit. Devised by world-leading specialists in security training, the Essential Security Practices (ESP) course will be showcased on stand T630 at the Facilities Management Show. The event takes place at ExCeL London from Tuesday 19th June until Thursday 21st June 2018.
Facilities Manager are often expected to make important high-value decisions regarding the safety and security of people, processes and places, without the necessary knowledge or experience. ESP is a ground-breaking new eLearning course that teaches all the essential insight, without the need to become a highly proficient, accredited security professional.
Managing Director of the Linx International Group, David Gill states, “The objective of the course is to impart a wide array of security-related expertise and knowhow, which is increasingly needed by Facilities Managers to conduct their daily tasks and to meet their duty-of-care obligations to the organisation, employees and customers.”
Being tasked with securing a facility can be a daunting prospect to the uninitiated, but the ESP course gives Facilities Managers the opportunity to learn from the very best physical and cyber-security specialists.
In doing so, individuals will have the confidence and skills to conduct security assessments (and reassessments), identify areas for improvement, implement and follow due process, engage with suppliers and installers, make the right investment in the right systems at the right times, and be empowered to train others in the organisation to be more security aware.
The ESP programme is the first of its kind and has been created by the leading international provider of security management training – PerpetuityARC Training (a Linx International Group company). Participants can choose their own path through the programme and elect the order in which they take each of the 12 modules.
