The Physical Security Professional (PSPⓇ) credential demonstrates your knowledge in physical security assessments, application, design, and integration of physical security systems, and implementation of security measures.
Many employers now mandate for senior roles that the applicant holds the PSP accreditation. This is an internationally-recognised credential, setting you apart from your peers in the industry.

How you will study
Days one to five: explanation of the timetable of study and approach required from learners, followed by familiarisation with the learning domains and study materials.
Days six to eight: explanation and discussion of the different domains, followed by consolidation and testing of learners’ knowledge to identify where further personal revision should be focused.
Days nine and ten: completion of mock exams followed by feedback and discussion.
About the exam
The PSP® exam comprises a maximum 140 multiple choice questions. These cover the three domains identified by physical security professionals as the key categories of physical security management. The exam is 2.5 hours long, and is taken at a Prometric Test Centre local to you.

High school diploma/GED equivalent/associate degree and six years of progressive physical security experience, or a bachelor’s degree (or higher) and four years of progressive physical security work experience.
